Measuring
2 1/2" long this glass cobalt striped perfume bottle
has it's original green case, satin lined and marked Renaud
- Paris 1817 American Depot Boston. The bottle is marked
on the gold paper labels Renaud - Paris 1817, the other
says Sweet Pea Ambree. Both the perfume and box are in

This
Renaud perfume powder is in a green jadeite
jar that is marked on the bottom "Renaud Made in
France". The paper label is in good condition and
says "Parfum En Poudre Sweet Pea Renaud Paris 1817
Made in France". The jar is in good condition,
the lid has only slight discoloration, and the jar is
about 2/3 full. This is a great addition to your collection.

Mitsouko BACCARAT Perfume Bottle
Guerlain
issued this famous bottle with a stopper shaped like a
gendarme’s hat, the guardian of the renowned fragrance
Mitsouko.
This
Gorgeous Crystal Bottle (with partial Mitsouko Parfum
Remaining) measures about 4 3/4" tall with stopper.
Both the Stopper and Bottle have matching etched numbers
~ TWO. Acid Etched "Baccarat ~ France" under
the label on the base ~ partially seen above the label
in the 3rd picture . This old label is in French and is
very difficult to read due to fading and wear. Front Label
has a tiny hole and some wear next to the "O"
in Mitsouko. Otherwise, condition is OUTSTANDING! Free

Czech Perfume w/Box Narcisse
This
wonderful Perfume is in excellent condition. measures
5 1/4" high, and 1 3/8" wide at the bottom.
The label shows just a tiny bit of wear.. The bottom of
the bottle is acid marked ...Bottle made in Czechoslovokia..The
bottle and the stopper are # 245.. The top of the bottle
and the edges are a satin finish. the box is silk linned..
as is the front of the box. The box shows a bit of wear..
no rips or missing paper. ID=CZ22 (this is also listed
under Czech bottles)This bottle is a highly sought after
and hard to find. It is a true masteroiece..And to have
the box with it.

GOLLIWOGG PERFUME BOTTLE BY VIGNY WITH ORIGINAL BOX
The
body and stopper are glass, with the original paper label,
circa. 1919 - 1930's.
The
bottle measures 2 3/4" x 1 5/8". The bottom
of the bottle shows 'VIGNY PARIS' BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE.
It is all in great shape EXCEPT for the HAIR. These originally
came with real seal skin hair but it has been replaced
very expertly with "mohair".
The
black and gold box reads, 'MADE IN FRANCE' and is lined
in pink silk and molded to fit the bottle.
There
are no marks, scratches or chips on the bottle the box
has a slight wear mark but is not bad at all and is unseen
when the bottle is sitting in it. ID=CB14

Vintage
Golliwogg Perfume Bottle by de Vigny
Golliwogg
perfume bottle made by deVigny in France. This is a
vintage piece, with label, glass stopper and feet applied.
All glass parts are intact! The label shows a little
discoloration and is loose a bit, an easy fix but I'll
let the new owner do that.
The Golliwoggs were quite popular in the early to mid
20th century.
This
is the smallest size made, about 2” not counting
the hair. The bottom is marked Bottle Made in France.

Old
HARTNELL PERFUME BOTTLE FULL White Shoulders
This
bottle is still sealed with the original string around
the stopper. It is in a round lace box. Both are in
great shape. I don't believe the bottle has ever been
opened. It has a glass stopper. The label in in the
shape of a H and says Hartnell White Shoulders and Perfume.

of Perfume: Discovering and Collecting Perfume Bottles
by Christie Lefkowith
The
hundreds of containers illustrated here, which are from
the author's own collection, date from the beginning of
the 20th century through the 1950s. In the art of perfumery,
scent is not the only allure. As the author points out
in this detailed history, serious attention is also given
to the selection of a name (which carries its own cachet),
the design of the label, the bottle, the stopper, ornaments
that might be affixed to it, and the box in which it is
packaged. Often, this multimedia art form represents the
work of well-known artists, designers, and couturiers.
Although this book does not give advice on how to collect
perfume bottles-which some readers might consider a drawback-it
does contain a directory of hundreds of designers (past
and present) with their addresses, a brief history of
each firm, and the names of some of their best-known products.
This would be an attractive addition to most libraries.

beautiful perfume bottle comes in its original velvet
box. Box has some light stainging inside. It is 3/4
full and smells good. Has original tassel string. Bottle
is in good condition. Bottle measures 3 3/4" tall.
